The smooth running of our club would not be possible without our committee members and convenors. They work hard to provide the Flyers experience to all our valued players, umpires, coaches, families and spectators.

COMMITTEE MEMBER ROLES
President
“The role of the president is to provide the principle leadership and responsibility for the club and the committee.”
Vice President
“The role of the Vice President is to shadow the president in leadership and responsibility for the club and committee, and to step into the President’s roles when required.”
Treasurer
“The role of the treasurer is to be responsible for the financial supervision of the club to allow the committee to provide good governance. The treasurer is responsible to regularly report on the Club’s financial status to both the committee and the club members.”
Secretary
“The role of the secretary is to lead the management of the committee minutes, records, documents and other important data as well as monitor the club’s correspondence mediums.”
Registrar
“The role of the registrar is to lead the management of the registration process and fulfil the requirements of the club’s association in all capacities relating to the registration process.”
Convenor Roles
Convenors work under the approval of the elected committee.
Head of Umpiring: “The role of the Head of Umpiring is to lead the management of all club umpires including their training, development, organisation and act as the liaison officer for umpiring matters for the club.”
Head Coach: “The role of the Head Coach is to lead the management of all club coaches including their training, development, and organisation and act as the liaison officer for coaching matters for the club.”
Grading and Placement Convenor: “The role of the Grading and Placement Convenor is to facilitate and implement grading process and team organisation in the lead up to the start of the season.”
Sponsorship and Grants Convenor: “The role of the Sponsorship Convenor is to lead the management of all sponsorship and grant arrangements of the club and act as the liaison officer between the club and all sponsors.”
Uniform and Equipment Convenor: “The role of the Uniforms/ Equipment Convenor is to lead the management of all uniform/ equipment orders as well as act as the liaison officer between the club and necessary businesses relating to uniforms/ equipment.
Social Media Convenor: “The role of the Social Media Convenor is to lead the management of the club’s social media platforms.”
Events and Fundraising Convenor: “The role of the Events and Fundraising Convenor is to lead the management of all private or public events relating to the club and oversee all fundraising events.”
Game Day Officer: “The role of the Game Day Officer is to be present for all Saturday Game Days to act as the liaison between the club and DPNA for any matters arising.”
